As you strike out on your own, as you finally create a life born from your truest desires, it can feel quite isolating. It’s actually easier to just keep pluggin’ along with the status quo. It’s comfy to just keep doing what everyone else is doing.
And that’s the real reason that most people don’t follow their own path.
It sparks ancient, expulsion-from-the-tribe feelings.
But then there’s a tipping point. That’s when the angst of not living your truth is harder to bear than that isolation.
You are at a critical junction when you arrive at this place. Most people won’t take the leap. Most people will allow their heart to wilt. They’ll allow the dream to fade. And just keep on going with the herd.
